The art of living

Laurence Bras, who has since returned to Paris to settle permanently, regularly returns to seek inspiration, challenge herself, and inspire her best intentions. This year, she traveled to Meghalaya, a state in northeastern India bordering Bangladesh.

Nicknamed the home of clouds, this mountainous region is where "women rule." It is there, in the heart of these misty and spiritual landscapes, that the inspiration for our new creation was born.

AN EXCEPTIONAL COLLECTION: THE SACRED CLAY OF MEGHALAYA

Our new plates are the result of ancestral know-how, passed down from generation to generation by the artisans of Meghalaya, India. Handcrafted using an increasingly rare traditional technique, they are crafted from precious, blessed, and mineral-rich clay, harvested only once a year.

Using no chemicals, the manufacturing process takes three weeks, respecting the natural rhythm of the material. Their unique hue, a reflection of this exceptional earth, and their incomparable strength allow everything to be baked in them, revealing an approach that is as aesthetic as it is functional.

These rare pieces celebrate the heritage and finesse of craftsmanship, giving each table a touch of authenticity and soul.

4 plate sizes:

TRADITION & KNOW-HOW

Laurence has designed a limited-edition collection of precious clay plates, handmade exclusively by women. These unique pieces are the ultimate extension of this art of living that the brand is offering us in 2025. They also represent a powerful gesture, underscoring her commitment to the men and women who perpetuate the traditions and crafts of Indian craftsmanship, including in the most remote regions of the subcontinent.
